Did Overtime Tyres Penrose used to be Bridgestone Penrose?
Yes, we were previously known as Bridgestone Penrose. In 2023, we made the strategic decision to become an independent company and rebrand to Overtime Tyres Penrose. This change gave us greater flexibility to serve you better. It allows us to continue offering full fleet/lease services (including partnerships with major providers such as FleetPartners, ORIX, Custom Fleet, SG Fleet, Toyota Finance, FleetWise, and many more), while adding extra options and personalised support. We’re excited about the future and would love for you to join us on this journey!
How do you decide which tyre to recommend/sell me?
It’s a simple but thorough process: we start by listening carefully to you. We ask the right questions about your vehicle, driving habits, budget, and intended use. This ensures we recommend the perfect tyre for your specific needs and application, every single time.
Do you sell second-hand tyres?
Yes, we stock and sell quality second-hand tyres in a wide range of sizes, from small passenger cars to larger vehicles. All our used tyres have a minimum 50% tread depth (and usually much more), so you can drive away with confidence.
Why do you sell second-hand tyres?
We offer both brand-new and second-hand tyres to suit every situation and budget. Some customers need an affordable option to get them through to payday, others are preparing to sell their vehicle and don’t want to invest in brand-new tyres, and many simply want a reliable, cost-effective solution. Whatever your reason, we’ve got you covered.
Can you bring in tyres by special request?
– Brand-new tyres: Absolutely! We can quickly order almost any tyre from our network of 18 local New Zealand suppliers.
– Second-hand tyres: These arrive in bulk shipments, so we don’t get to hand-pick individual items. However, we regularly receive a good variety and are happy to check our current stock for what you need.
Do you negotiate on prices or offer discounts?
